My name is Rabbi Halina Rubinstein.

I was born and raised in Mexico City, and I live in Westchester, New York.

As a Rabbi, I consider myself part teacher, part counselor and part spiritual guide — all combined into one.

You can currently find me teaching and performing lifecycle events throughout the Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Putnam, Duchess, Fairfield and Essex counties in Lower New York State, Northern New Jersey and Connecticut.

As of July of 2016 I will be serving as the Rabbi of Hebrew Congregation of Somers, a Reconstructionist synagogue in Northern Westchester County.

I hold M.A. and M.Phil. degrees in Jewish Studies from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America (JTSA) and I received my rabbinic ordination from the Academy for Jewish Religion (AJR).
